For those who don’t know, LORAC Cosmetics is one of my top FAVORITE brands to use! It was love at first sight when I stumbled upon LORAC’s best selling Tantilizer Body Bronzing Luminizer, which instantly gives your skin a bronzed sun-kissed glow with a hint of shimmer. I began using other products from this professional line, and again found myself loving every single one! I think its safe to say, LORAC had me at hello 😉 Recently, I have been using the LORAC Pro Palette on just about all of my brides and bridal parties. This PRO artist palette comes with 16 matte and shimmer warm eye shadows to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line, and define your eyes. The colors are very well pigmented and extremely soft, and here comes the bonus…each palette comes with a Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer so your shadow will stay place all day long! That being said, I introduce to you LORAC’s newest cool tone eye palette launch, the Pro Palette 2, and I will be sharing some of my own tips and tricks to create a flawless matte and shimmer eye look, as well as artistry tips from the creator of LORAC, Carol Shaw. Enjoy! ♥
Creating The Perfect Eye Look with LORAC Pro Palette 2
Step 1 – Begin by applying Behind The Scenes Eye Primer all over the lid and blend up towards the brow bone
Step 2 – Using a Tapered Blending Brush softly blend the color “Lt. Brown” in your crease, back and forth motions
Step 3- Using a Large Shader Brush apply the color “Buff”onto your entire lid
Step 4- Using a Eye Shading Brush apply the color “Cool Gray” to the outer corner of the eye lid, and drag up towards your crease. Creating a “V” shape to the outer corner.
Step 5- Using a Medium Angled Shading Brush (or any Blending Brush) blend out the crease and outer corner using the backward “S” technique which Carol Shaw will explain in the video below!
Step 6- Wet an Eye Liner Brush and apply the color “Black” on the upper lash line. Smudge to create a more smokey effect.
Step 7- Using a Pencil Brush apply the color “Lt. Brown” on lower lash line
Step 8 – Using a Pencil Brush apply the color “Black” on outer corner of lower lash line
Step 9- Using a Tapered Blending Brush softly blend the color “Nectar” in your crease
Step 10- Using Large Shader Brush apply the color “Buff” under brow bone
